Tarzan is perhaps one of the oldest 3-D Disney channel games that were created. The game follows the familiar pattern of ‘damsel in distress’ which is the basic pattern of most of the Disney games that were created in the past. When this game came out, it had nothing new to offer, however, the graphics that were offered in this game seem to be better than all the other games that existed before this. The game play of this game was very much similar to the game play of Lion King, beauty and the beast and even Aladdin.
The general aim of the game was to wide all the bad guys and get to the end of all the levels. This game had about 12 levels which were quite short and gave the user enough thrills and spills during these levels. The factor that keeps most gamers into the game is the appeal of the game has a person. If the game is boring and not very interesting to look at, chances are that a person will easily lose interest in the game. Tarzan was a Disney channel games that had everything. It had excellent graphics and an excellent plot and also offered very good game play. However the one thing that Tarzan did not offer to the players was something ‘new’.
The game of Tarzan involved several flying animals and moving creatures which filled the screen while the player would have to evade all these creatures or jump across them. Everything else in the screen looked like it was created well except Tarzan who lacked the detail in graphics. However the animation sequences that was given to this character was quite good and as a result the game play was quite small. It almost seemed as if the Disney Channel games could convince you that Tarzan was a real character in this game. Another important feature that came into the Tarzan game was that this game was made in 3-D. This meant that everything around the world of Tarzan was in 3-D and hence it enhanced the experience of the player.
Another thing that appeals to the players of this game is that the sequence of the game exactly coincides with the sequence of the film. This also meant that players were able to predict what would happen next in the game. However, there was also an element of surprise with creatures and other elements being introduced into the game.
Needless to say, as with all other Disney channel games, Tarzan was also a really addictive game that could maintain players on the edge of their seats. The aim of the game was to a lot more Tarzan to the correct of the screen as swiftly as feasible and avoiding all adversaries by means of the game. This game was developed not just for the PC platform but also for PlayStations along with other platforms also. Tarzan is just one of the games that have been manufactured by Disney. You will find hundreds of other games that have been made based on tv series and also based on films also.
